Flamingos

The Flamingo is one of the most popular bird at the park, in total there are six species of flamingos, but only two are housed at Flamingo Land. Their distinctive color comes from the food they eat, Flamingos are among the world’s most beautiful tall birds. One can easily recognize them because they are famous for spending so much time standing on one leg. These amazing birds can reach speeds of up to 40 mph and it is known they can fly 300 miles to a new exhibit.
