27-06-2013 | Well the huge frame that rotates was today removed, it was removed so the shock bars that take the force when making a connection with the “cars” could be fitted. We are not sure if the bars had been forgot about OR the if the workers thought they could be added after the frame was fitted, but it was removed and now getting put back in place. It was removed this morning and has taken a full day so a lot of time wasted ? Well a second crane was on site lifting safety rails and access ladders so hopefully all is still on track.

Hero has a fantastic colour scheme and the location could not be better it just looks the part, we think flamingo land have made a very wise choice of ride and the visitors will love it.

17-03-2013 | Today parts of “Hero” started to arrive, located in the coach car park we headed over for a little look about.

12-03-2013 | The site of Hero has been boarded off with nice information board about the new ride, the boards have  holes so people can see the progress but on our visit not much was going on. The land was getting ready for the foundations and it wont belong before the steel arrives.
