A number of popular bands and musicians have now taken to the famous Riverside One stage at Flamingo Land Resort, but perhaps the most iconic band of this year’s line up so far is set to hit the stage on Saturday 29th July.

Scouting for Girls, who have had a string of top-twenty singles including ‘Heartbeat’, ‘Elvis ain’t dead’ and ‘She’s so lovely’, are BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND and will be headlining the evening concert.

“The evening entertainment at our outdoor venue starts at 6pm with our Farewell Show starring our very own Mia and Mylo meerkat mascots and acrobatic group the Bongo Warriors before our music acts get the crowd dancing the night away” said Sarah Mills Director of Marketing at Flamingo Land Resort.  Scouting for Girls also enjoyed a number one hit with ‘This ain’t a love song’ and had four successful albums including the 2008 hit, the self-titled Scouting for Girls It is little wonder that the band is incredibly popular across the UK and Europe.

“We want to remind our day visitors that this entertainment is included in your theme park ticket price as well as for season pass holders and Holiday Village guests including those camping,” said Sarah. “Or you can book a late theme park entrance at 5pm for £10, which along with enjoying the rides for an hour also includes the evening concert.  Both ticket types are available on our website now.”

Scouting for Girls are one of the most popular British Pop-Rockers in recent years and have racked up an impressive list of achievements since forming in 2005, scoring no less than four Brit Awards nominations and an MTV Europe Music Award nomination for best new act.   It is no wonder that the Flamingo Land crowd loved their performance in July 2016 and have been requesting their return every since.

With its spectacular illuminated waterfall and all-weather stage, Riverside One entertainment arena also features a choice of great bars and restaurants allowing you to make the most of your day with a delicious meal, ice cold beer or a selection of tempting snacks.
